EkoFootball”- Vision of the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) to transform the game of Football in Lagos state and by extension Nigeria.

Strategy involves the creation of four main structures; Youth Development, Learning & Human Capital Development, brand new privately owned commercial Super League and a fully activated International Football Business Network.

Soccerex Partnership places Lagos firmly on the global Football Business Circuit. Other Cities included Rio De Janeiro (World Congress) and Manchester (European Forum)

“EkoFootball Festival” to create mass support for the actualisation of the LSFA Youth Development vision by converging the football industry with the entertainment industry.

Ekofootball Festival will take place simultaneously with Soccerex Lagos Seminar 27-29 September at an Arena to be set up opposite the Oriental Hotel

Festival Itenary

A 3 (three) Day B2C event which will take place at a 5- A side Football Arena with provision for a performance stage to be set up close to the Oriental hotel.

The first day will feature an opening ceremony showcasing a display of Lagos cultural heritage, coaching clinics with celebrity footballers, age group youth football competitions with music, dancing and other attractions in between matches. Highlight of the Day will be a World Stars team to include popular retired football stars Vs EkoFootball celebrity team to be led by the Governor of Lagos state.

The second day will feature various football exhibition performances, star appearances, music and fashion shows. Highlight of the day will be a youth team competition involving internationally renowned football clubs and a selected EkoFootball youth team. Honours and awards to be presented to various celebrities at the evening Gala event

The Third day will feature Talent Hunt, Scouting & Invitational Amateur clubs competitions

The closing ceremony will feature a headline concert featuring top local stars including EkoFootball ambassadors Whizz Kid and Naeto C. Super Sport and other local media to provide media broadcast at the Arena to seminar venue and Nigerian TV audience
